Chewton Place is a great venue for conferences and meetings. A grade II regency style house set in eight acres of secluded riverside gardens, Chewton Place is a peaceful rural retreat yet is only six miles from Bristol and Bath. A traditional country house ambience with purpose -designed conference and training facilities with well equipped ensuite bedrooms provides a first class working environment. This outstanding venue is ideal for day meetings, week long residential training courses and conferences, and also provides a stunning backdrop for Wedding Receptions, corporate hospitality, exhibitions, product launches and the opportunity to reserve exclusive use of the house and grounds. The Chewton Suite This is the most versatile meeting room and can accommodate from 32 in a ‘U' shaped configuration to 100 delegates in theatre style. The air-conditioned room can also be used to host a banquet for up to 100 guests.
The River Room This delightful room is suited to formal training or board meetings and retains many of its period features. Overlooking the River Chew it is perfect for private dining and can host up to 45 delegates in a variety of configurations.
The Bowden Room This bright and airy room is particularly popular with trainers for its privacy and adjacent pair of well-equipped syndicate rooms. Accommodating 40 delegates in theatre style, this room can also be used in other formats.
The Popham Room Overlooking the River Chew this room is bright and comfortable and is ideal for hosting up to 18 delegates in a more intimate meeting layout.
The Morning Room Comfortable and compact, the Morning Room is ideal for you to host an induction or train in a more hands-on environment. You can configure the room to your specification accommodating up to 15 delegates in boardroom style.
The Mendip Suite This is a self-contained meeting room in its own secluded area of the venue. It is particularly quite and has wonderful views of the grounds.
