Located in a privileged area five minutes walk from London Underground and National Rail train services and under half-hour by car or taxi from Heathrow airport ODEON Richmond is a unique conference venue in south west London. Close to the capital but at the same time distant from the city centre rush it is surrounded by parks and the nearby river. Offering a wide range of facilities for business meetings, conferences, seminars and training days, we can host from a few dozen to 350 delegates in seven elegant theatre-style auditoria. All the auditoria are fully equipped for large-scale video projection and can easily be converted or dressed to offer almost unlimited possibilities for events of all sizes and requirements. Formerly known as the Richmond Kinema, and now a Grade Two listed building, this is one of the most architecturally interesting cinema buildings in south-west. The ODEON Richmond is believed to have been the first ‘atmospheric’ cinema in Britain; a cinema design pioneered in America and intended, through exotic stage-set decoration and lighting effects, to transport the audience from the reality of the outside world to the make-believe world on the screen. Today the convenient location of the building, the functional nature of the auditoria and the grandiose design of the main auditorium - all designed to guarantee maximum comfort - contribute to make ODEON Richmond a unique and inspiring venue for you and your delegates.
