Hempstead House is an ideal venue for meetings and events. It was the old estate house for all the surrounding farmland which was sold privately to the Holdstock family in 1990. They purchased it with a view to letting two rooms and providing dinner to guests as a part time occupation whilst raising a young family. Fourteen years later it boasts 27 individually designed guest suites, spacious, elegant reception rooms and a 60 cover restaurant, and a brand new function suite all set within three acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, with outdoor heated swimming pool, floodlit terraces, sunken garden and pond area.

The Heritage Suite is a highly versatile space comprising of the Milton, Woodstreet, Radfield Rooms , which can either be used independently or configured to meet the requirements of your function, with air conditioning and natural daylight throughout. The Heritage Suite the perfect venue for conferences and similar business functions where only the highest standards of facilities and service will suffice.

Whether you are planning a day\\\\\\\'s training or a full residential conference, our year\\\\\\\'s of organisational expertise means nothing is left to chance in ensuring your event is an unqualified success. For smaller functions of up to twenty people, the Oakly Room, with its ornate Victorian appointments, provides the ideal setting for those special, more intimate occasions and also small conferences. Seating up to 20 delegates boardroom style. In addition we now have the Maple Room which will seat up to 32 diners on 2 tables of 16 or 4 tables of 8. For conferencing it can be used theatre style, \\\\\\\'U\\\\\\\' shape, boardroom or caberet style. It is fully air conditioned and has all the latest audio visual equipment built in.
