Shaw Hill Hotel Golf and Country Club is an ideal place to stay whether its for business or pleasure!

It is a grade 2 listed Georgian mansion House and still retains many of its original period features with glittering chandeliers and superb galleried staircases.

It sits like a crown overlooking a par 72 mature woodland 192 acre golf course with stunning views from many of the rooms.

There are 30 individually appointed en-suite bedrooms, many with views overlooking the golf course. We have 8 conference/banqueting rooms catering from 2 – 300 guests. We have a fully equipped gymnasium with over 40 classes in our aerobic studio, beauty salon, hairdressers, 18 meter indoor swimming pool with sauna, jacuzi, steam room, sun beds and personal fitness trainers. In addition we have several bars/lounges along with sky sports and a snooker room so you can be as active or relaxed as you wish. It is advisable to book your treatments at the time of booking.

Whilst retaining its charm there is a modern twist with free wi-fi available and all the conference facilities you would expect in todays times.

We cater with only the finest locally sourced ingredients and Vardons restaurant has gained many awards over the years. It is open daily for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner (except Saturday Lunch) and you can choose 1, 2 or 3 courses dependent on your appetite. ( There is a dress code for the restaurant which is no jeans or trainers please. ) We also serve snacks and light bites throughout the day should you prefer.

Weddings are a speciality at Shaw Hill and we are licensed for Civil Ceremonies. We can cater up to 200 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 300 guests in the evening, there are smaller rooms available. Our expert team will guide you from the moment of enquiry through to the big day ensuring outstanding service which is second to none making your day one you will certainly remember. 

We cater for Golf days whether you are a  Society, Charity fundraiser,  Corporate golf or simply an away day.  Our golf co-ordinator can offer as much assistance as you need organising competitions such as longest drive or nearer the pin etc. We do also have a golf shop and on site pro should you need tips to improve your game.

We are also open for new members to join our Golf Club or Leisure club or you can join both for a reduced fee.

We have several short break packages available for golf enthusiasts, spa breaks or a mix of the two.
