The BP Lecture Theatre, inaugurated in November 2000 by Nelson Mandela, is an ideal principal venue for conferences seating up to 323 delegates (and 6 spaces for wheelchair users). The theatre is equipped with a raised stage, lectern, screen, audio-visual control room and four translation booths.

A tailor made package is developed for each client and can include tours of the Museum, exhibition tickets, private views and corporate gifts. Fax and photocopying facilities are available on request. The venue hire fee includes assisted AV support and use of the foyer during the event.

The Stevenson Lecture Theatre seats 141 with 6 spaces for wheelchair users. The theatre is equipped with a screen, audio-visual control room, lectern, and two translation booths.

The Sackler Rooms are an ideal venue for a seminar or meeting, or a breakout space as part of a larger conference. Combined, the venues form one large room for up to 90 delegates (theatre style) or individually form two rooms for up to 45 delegates (theatre style). Other possible seating arrangements include space for up to 50 people cabaret style or 35 boardroom style.

The Claus Moser Room seats 35 delegates theatre style or up to 18 boardroom style.

The Studio seats 35 delegates theatre style or up to 18 boardroom style. It provides an ideal breakout space and is equipped with a lino floor for practical workshop sessions.

The venue hire fee includes AV equipment.

The two foyers in the Clore Education Centre provide ideal reception, catering or exhibition areas. Each foyer is equipped with a servery and a cloakroom. The foyers can be hired individually for breakfasts or evening receptions and are automatically included in hire of the BP Lecture Theatre or Hugh and Katherine Stevenson Lecture Theatre.
